An intense back pain led her to her first Forrest Yoga class back in 2014. The pain went away, but her love for yoga stayed. She started practicing daily and joined courses of different yoga styles, such as Ashtanga, Hatha and Vinyasa for several years.
In 2019, she decided to deepen her practice and go through teaching of yoga. Her deep love for Forrest Yoga®, drove her to participate in and complete the Foundation Forrest Yoga Training in Bali taught by the founder, Ana Forrest. Through this experience, she realized the broad impact of yoga on people’s lives and how they can transform through the practice, both on a mental and a physical level. She started teaching Forrest Yoga in 2020 and she frequently participates in yoga workshops and retreats, to enrich her knowledge and get inspired by other instructors’ approaches and perspectives.
Her goal, as a teacher, is to focus on each student’s personal needs, guide them to develop body awareness, and help them reach their full potential, keeping in mind that each person is unique. Kyriaki believes that yoga practice should have no limits and always be accessible to everyone. Therefore, she offers variations, tips, and support in every class, encouraging students of all levels to join and connect breath with movement.
